If I'm not mistaken, it's sort of a slice of life + comedy show, not ecchi.

I think the [Kuro] release might be a DVD version but I doubt it because of the 128 kbps MP3 audio. I read someone did do a batch of them but it quickly died :/
Watched "The Place Promised in our Early Days" earlier on, I think my expectations were too high - animation was superb as expected, but it seems with time Makoto Shinkai got better at what he does, because 5cms per second is better.
Im watching Cat Shit One currently, apparently it took them 1 year and a half to make the first ep though. So i might be waiting awhile for another ep....

The [Kuro] version is just a lolrebrand of the [Lunar] release. No amount of pure luck can get them EXACTLY (to the bit) the same file size as the Lunar release, unless they are in fact the the Lunar releases...
As for the fabled English DVDrips, I could only find a link on tosho, which leaded to a location that doesn't exist. No traces of it elsewhere. Don't know... fake?
Some DVD rips from a few other European languages (Italian, French...), but I can't understand any of those either.
Don't you hate it when you can't find subs in one of the most commonly spoken languages around the world :/
It always kind of pisses me off, even though I suppose I don't have a right to be angry because it's my fault for not knowing whatever language I found it in, in the first place.
