Incadude Wrote: [ -> ]Thanks I looked into both of them. I don't know about Mitsudomoe but Hayate no Gotoku looks promising. I was just watching darker than black on netflix and it got me hooked. I think ill browse through netflix some more. I really like the funimation dub team they do an awesome job Im glad i finally got netflix I might just get rid of cable tv for awhile lol. Except i do like watching the news in the morning.
Was in a rush when I wrote that.
By the way, try my edit too

ZiNgA BuRgA Wrote: [ -> ]EDIT: now that I've had more time to think about it, maybe something more shoujo oriented but quite watchable for guys to, like Ouran High School Host Club or Nodame Cantabile.
Yeah I finished darker than black and its ending was alright.
Then I saw phantom: requiem of the phantom and it was
Kinda depressing and repetitive but the ending was
marvelous it was so unexpected. I need a comedy now so I'll be checking
out your recommendations zinga. Thanks.
Saint October
Pretty much every episode follows a similar structure.  Can be considered episodic, but there's a continuation of story in each one.  I didn't expect too much of this show, and I guess I got what I had expected.  First episode generally better than most others, decent comedy (with subtle elements of it) and other elements, building towards the main plot near the end.

Nazo no Kanojo X
Some interesting ideas and executed reasonably well I'd say.  Urabe is really the driving force of this show, but she does unfortunately tone down a bit (in other words, is shown to be more normal) later on.  Had expected it to turn pretty poo poo, given that most of these shows relying on unique ideas tend to lose interest value once they've exploited the idea.  Ending was decent, ending on a bit of an odd note, but in line with the rest of the show.

Kore wa Zombie Desu-ka 2
So they've decided to focus more on the harem aspect of the show rather than the action from season 1.  Even places where you'd expect some action tended to teeter down.  The writers were seemingly a bit more bold this time, going a bit more extreme at parts.
I feel that they've done harem component better than they did in season 1, but without too much else backing it up, it seems rather lacking.
Apparently there's going to be a few more episodes on it or something - see if it actually delivers more of a proper ending to the show...

Yuru Yuri S2 first episode was better than Yuru Yuri first season, but the 2nd episode seems to have returned it largely back to normal.
Binbougami-ga first 2 episodes are pretty decent, but let's see how long it lasts...

I'll wait for Sword Art Online to finish before I decide whether to watch it.  Otherwise, for other shows, depend on what I hear about them.

I'm glad to hear that because as soon after I saw the ending I couldn't help but ask.

"Was that it?"
I waited like two years to finish watching Saint October.
So... was it worth it?

Same thing on my mind. Can't help but think it'll wear out its plot pretty fast.

Well, waiting for a long time made the last few episodes more exciting to watch. It's a good anime, but I can't see myself re-watching it anytime soon.
Not sure exactly what, but I quite enjoyed the K-On movie.  Didn't expect much, considering the quality of a typical movie from a TV show, but I guess K-On has the advantage of spinning out a completely fresh story as opposed to a alternative version of the main plot.

Binbougami-ga episode 3 seems to be where they've changed direction.  Not a bad episode, but it doesn't seem to be heading in the best direction...
Have kinda wondered why weird main characters must become "normal" in stories.  I get it that audiences like character development, but I believe weird people can have their own way of living...
Steins;Gate
Interesting plot and I think delivered reasonably well.  The ending feels a little iffy, but nonetheless enjoyable.

Binbougami-ga
Decent comedy flavoured with enough variety IMO.  Managed to stay mostly interesting throughout the series.
Unfortunately seems to have a bit of inconsistency which I thought harmed the more serious parts.

YuruYuri S2
Not much to say.  Relatively similar to season 1.  I found Kyouko a little less interesting; they focused a bit more on other characters.

Shakugan no Shana Final
Somewhat more interesting than the other two seasons IMO - for one there's less of a "good/evil" opposition.  My main criticism will be that there seems to be some moments where you don't know what's really going on... (well at least for me)
