I know that road accidents are common in reality, but there's so many deaths cause by cars in anime and other related media.

I haven't encountered all that much, well memorable ones at least, because I can only think of like 2 right at this moment...

I mean like actually in the main story, not some in-the-past-some-shit-happened kind of thing.

Give some examples?

I did meant counting that. Maybe Zinga knows more than I because he put it on his list of overused anime elements he complains about though he might also be counting back stories. Err, I found it.

If someone has a sad background, you can almost guarantee that it involves at least one of their parents dying, and, from the above, is usually some form of traffic incident.

The only main story one I can think of at the moment is Tetsuwan Atom.

What the hell is that one anime...
like the entire plot is about her getting hit by a car and her boyfriend stays with her the entire time (although he is a bit unfaithful)
but like at the car accident there is a bloody bow and just blood fudgeing everywhere
and somehow this girl just ends up in the hospital with a coma

I'm just going to assume you have bad memory and say it's Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts).

Wait, that is what wee're talking about, right?

The entire plot is about the events that transpire AFTER she gets hit by the car, not about her getting hit by the car.

Also, "stays with her the whole time", "a bit unfaithful", hah no.

Some pretty damn serious coma if it took her 3 years to wake up.  Also, her legs are also pretty much useless afterwards.
Highschool of the Dead OVA is pretty much just random fanservice for a half length episode.  I don't think the main show actually has so much fanservice in such a short period of time, so it's somewhat different in nature to the main show.

Seitokai Yakuindomo OVA somewhat changes the environment a bit - kinda could've been the first episode of a S2.  Otherwise, same as always with all the dirty jokes.

Princess Princess
Seems very much like your typical ecchi anime, except a female targeted version.  In which, you just replace useless ecchi with shallow drama.  I don't think a single girl ever appears on screen for the first 3 episodes.
Are a number of interesting points, but otherwise pretty much what I had expected with not too much interesting about it.
2.5 stars

Kore wa Zombie Desuka
An interesting mix of a few elements.  I found the end a bit weird (note, not talking about the bonus episode 12), but I guess reasonable enough.  The bonus episode wasn't bad either.
A number of weird (somewhat irrelevant) things in the story, but entertaining otherwise.
Feeling a bit generous, so 3.5 stars

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Quite an interesting set of events, which flow throughout the story fairly well.  Quite a number of interesting ideas too.  There's a fair bit of drama which seems somewhat over the top, but I guess it's a large portion of what this show tries to achieve and does it reasonably well.
Ending was interesting, but I personally don't like it as much as some others did - then again, there probably isn't much of an alternative given the circumstances.  Overall, nicely done for 12 episodes.
4 stars

I don't really know much about this stuff, but a 3 year coma seems unrealistic.
Infinite Stratos - Pretty much a harem show.  For the first half, it's actually pretty decent and I considered it among the better of the harem shows I've seen.... then shit went bad in the second half.  And in the end you get a 1/2 assed partial ending that still leaves everything hanging.  7/10 - 1 (2nd half) - 1 (ending) = 5/10.  6/10 maybe if there's a 2nd season.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica - 8.5/10.
Quote:I would probably say it's around 8.5 for me.  Though I was retarded, and watched episode 11 and 12 before 10 because I miss clicked, and didn't notice until after the end.  That could have possibly impacted on my enjoyment of the ending.  The normal episodes are consistently good pretty much the whole way, and the ending is decent.

Imo this actually > Saya, the normal stuff were superior to Saya, and the ending was of a similar level.  Well, I have Saya on 8 currently.
And there's some small stuff which sort of annoy me,
Spoiler for for example:
like how that red haired girl went from one episode where she wants to kill the blue haired girl, to the next episode where she would sacrifice her life to save her...
but whatever.

Note: 8.5 is a pretty high rating from me, highest rating I've ever given a show is 9.5. 10 is perfection and I've never seen a show that I would consider to be perfect.

Highschool of the Dead + OVA - Pretty much 65% beating up mindless zombies + 35% fanservice.  OVA is like 80% fanservice.  Nothing special, however, pretty average.  Ending was just retarded, and just ends out of nowhere.  Ok, even though 12K's ending was also incomplete as a whole, it was at least complete for the arc.  This ending is just bad, and one of the most unsatisfying endings I've seen in a long time.  Damn, what's with all the endings of the stuff I've been watching lately... 6.5/10, -1.5 for extremely disappointing ending (if there's no second season) = 5/10.

The Twelve Kingdoms - /start pretending to be a proper reviewer.  A gripping tale of courage and determination set in a mystical world of beauty.  This show showcases the ugliness of human nature, jealousy, arrogance, spite, greed, and how surrounded by all that, a few individuals with pure and benevolent hearts fights through the deceit and corruption to shines through brilliantly like a beam of light.  /end pretending to be a proper reviewer.  tl;dr - people fuck shit up around the place.

While being good in almost every aspect, the area this show stands out most is it's superior character development that cannot be touched by anything else I've seen.  And it also has that pull to get you to keep watching through the night until you finish the arc you're on.

The main problem and disappointment is that it's unfinished.  There are a total of 7 novels, and only 4 of them have been adapted, so while it does end the current arc off nicely, the overall story isn't really concluded.  But hey, at least the ending is nowhere near as bad as IS and HotD.  8.5/10, -0.5 penalty for being incomplete = 8/10.

No, it isn't a shoujo show (if you somehow got that impression by comparing the cover against stuff like Fushigi Yuugi and Saiunkoku Monogatari), not at all, it's not even a love story at that.

Toaru Majutsu no Index II - Pretty much Index 1 (with all it's herps and inconsistencies and plot flaws and whatever), except the story is somewhat better.  More like Railgun tier plot than Index 1 tier plotnon-plot.  Also, Touma is slightly less annoying, and Accelerator steals some of his time, so that's a good thing too.  But there's too much church stuff in this one.  7/10.

Assassinator Wrote: [ -> ]Tears to Tiara - 8/10 probably (probably overrated, may get revised down later).

Well, that didn't take long... 7.5/10.

Sounds like I won't bother then. v,v
