I wonder if R2 does the same.
But otherwise, I kinda liked the ending few episodes, despite a bit of double you tee eff going on.

I find it odd that Lelouch never seems to suspect others knowing about the possibility of his power. I mean, he got it from that capsule, which was sourced from some people who probably know something is supernatural, at the very least. There seems to be hints that some members of the royal family are involved with these "power girls" and it would make sense for Lelouch to be suspicious that some in power know about this.
Really double you tee eff: he knew there were 2 people who saw his identity, yet he only went after Shirley, never confirming that the other was dead. Luckily she was amnesic.
Nina's lack of coherent reasoning at the end is a bit odd for a science freak, but I guess, peoples' minds work differently
Lelouch, once he loses control of his power, says that he can't look at anyone any more. Uh, couldn't he just wear an eye patch? I guess it's still difficult to explain to people why he's doing it, but it would make a lot more sense than trying to cover his eye with his hand. Then again, he never really looks at anyone after that incident.
As C2 says, his emtions are wierd, especially after Shirley's dad gets killed - it's not like he didn't know people were going to get killed; his compassionate action
In the first episode, the soldiers which he commands to kill themselves refers to Lelouch as "your highness". At first, I thought it had something to do with C2 saying that he'll "live the life of a king" or something like that, but it appears no-one else under his control ever did the same thing. Which means that the soldier leader must've somehow known what he was, but how?
Oh and the hot-headed imbecile that is Suzaku is annoying, although I like some of his reactions:

When people ask me for anime recommendations, I usually tell them to go watch stuff like Code Geass, because it's sort of safe (which have since proven true). Safe meaning it's quite universally liked, unlike stuff like AIR, which are somewhat hit and miss.

on Code Geass, Lelouch and C.C. gets my vote. i just wished they farther elaborate C.C.'s past. the other characters, don't care much. Read the manga as well, no further stories for her.
on Death Note, i have to disagree, i prefer Light, even though he got carried away. most of my friends who prefer L, likes him because of his weirdness. i prefer Near over L anytime. Manga version, better presentation.
these 2 anime are still my top ones, with Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop and Monster.

Finished it. As I thought towards the end, R2 tries to end the story, and some parts of the ending are somewhat what I had expected. I still like the audacity of the ending, despite me not being too sure it really works.
Overall, I'd say it's on par with the first season. Yes, some more very weird double you tee eff bits, but if you ignore them, it's about the same - quite entertaining.

So do you believe Lelouche is alive or not?
One (very popular) proposed theory is that Lelouche obtains immortality from C.C the same way as Charles did from V.V. And during the final scene, the cart driver C.C. talks to is in fact Lelouche. This seems like the more realistic of the theories I've heard (some of them being completely wacked). Because knowing Lelouche's personality, he would never agree to something that will leave him dead in the end. Also, if you look at it in Lelouche's perspective, it's a good solution, he's free to start a new life away from all the mess at the end, while Suzaku gets stuck forever with the guilt of killing him, and the country would probably be in good? hands with Suzaku and all... and C.C. looses the immortality which she hates, so everything sort of works out.
But all in all, I won't place my support for any single theory. I believe the producers are just leaving it open for the possibility of another season. Therefore the truth isn't even decided on the producers side, and will depend on the possibility of a 3rd season.

I'd personally guess the simple theory of him being dead and C2 talking to him like she did with his mother. Haven't thought about it much.
But it seems all the issues at hand were solved, so if there's a sequel, it's likely to be rather different.
He's not really the person to die, but I don't think he really wanted to live much either. Considering the amount of miraculous healing that goes on in the show, I wouldn't be surprised if he's alive though.
They do mention that it's love which drives people to do stuff, and I think that his dying was the only way to win back his sister. If he somehow appears again, I don't think things would work out quite nicely, so it would force him to be hidden most of the time and not see his sister.
Also, when his mind was cleared, he was always looking for challenges, and he's already conquered the world, so I don't think he sees much more of a challenge left for him to live for.
He also does have a sense of personal guilt, I alluded to earlier. He was willing to get kicked and bashed by Suzaku, despite not liking it.
Watched a few episodes of Kurenai.
Was a little confused during the first episode, but becomes clearer later. Unfortunately doesn't seem to try to try much of an extravagant plot, unlike what the first episode seems to suggest.
Plot is alright, but it really seems to lack excitement, which is somewhat a shame.
