Finished Clannad. I feel like I'm a bit of a sucker for the Tomoyo-special-episode type story.
Might move straight on to the sequel.
Watched episode 1 of Tatami Galaxy. Can't say that this show is for me. The excessive amount of monologue is probably the biggest turn off for me. Art work is very noticeably crude, but more based on emotional context rather than looking realistic. Story seems okay, but doesn't look particularly special, and I can't quite see much scope for comedy or a change. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but from the first episode at least, I don't think I'll continue with it.

Well the sequel starts off similar to the first season, except with shorter stories. Second part is rather different however, which I somewhat like as departing from the typical Kanon/Clannad-ish environment.
It becomes a more slow moving story - somewhat less exciting than the high school days though. Last episode was somewhat double you tee eff. And they decided to stick the Kyou chapter as the last episode of After Story for some reason.
Movie covered both seasons, and wasn't bad for condensing all the content, though I feel that it doesn't quite work so well for someone who hasn't seen the main series before, and its modifications make it slightly worse.
3.5 stars from me, though I could probably edge up to 4.
Black Rock Shooter is an interesting concept, although feels somewhat mind-fudgey. Unsure about a number of things. Probably about 3.5 stars from me.
Onto Zero no Tsukaima F, probably followed by Shana III. Looks like I'm in for a period of an annoying tsundere loli main character voiced by the same person (Shana's more bearable than Louise, although it seems that the latter isn't so annoying as she was in earlier seasons). Ooh the excitement.
Zero no Tsukaima F is actually not too bad. Better than seasons 2 and 3.
They tied up the story in season 3 pretty quickly then somewhat started another one. As such, it feels a little ad-hoc adding.
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Decent movie - tricky subject presented in a somewhat simplistic way - nice.
Story starts somewhat later in the show, but I didn't enjoy it as much.
3.5 stars
Mysterious Girlfriend X has some interesting concepts in there.

Ive never been an anime fan. I did enjoy some in the past that were showing on adultswim anime sunday nights like: cowboy beebop, FMA, samurai champloo and some bleach. I recently got netflix and started watching some shows with my girlfriend and she wanted me to watch some anime with her. She picked out school rumble and sadly i have to admit i became addicted to it. The whole plot is funny
Sadly the author seems to have stopped short on the third semester. Yes the series does end but it seems to have ended in haste.
Well there's my online confession. Had to get it off my chest. Could you guys recommend some anime for me. I love comedy and drama but nothing too serious or realistic.
Off the top of my head, Mitsudomoe could be something you may enjoy.
See what you think about Hayate no Gotoku.
EDIT: now that I've had more time to think about it, maybe something more shoujo oriented but quite watchable for guys to, like Ouran High School Host Club or Nodame Cantabile.
Thanks I looked into both of them. I don't know about Mitsudomoe but Hayate no Gotoku looks promising. I was just watching darker than black on netflix and it got me hooked. I think ill browse through netflix some more. I really like the funimation dub team they do an awesome job Im glad i finally got netflix I might just get rid of cable tv for awhile lol. Except i do like watching the news in the morning.
