As much I hate to say it, you may as well get CoalGirls. I think they fixed their problem by now (they released a new torrent), and from what I've seen of Doki, they're even worse.

CoalGirls didn't cross my mind at the time. How big is a 1080p ep? Doki ranged from 900MB-1.1GB
Also, the English Subs should only need to be stylized since they were included... so I'm guessing your referring to encode of which I had no problem with Doki.

I haven't seen their encodes for Kanon... but some of their other encodes I've seen (eg. LvB) are difinitely quite bad.

Yeah I saw their Chu-Bra, was rather rubbish (along with the anime ¬_¬). How hard can it be to do a Blu-Ray rip anyway?
Besides, it can be as simple as:
- Download ZeroRaws Batch
- Extract Subtitles
- Convert & Style with Aegisub
- Done
Just hit Kanon 09... and I only let go of a couple of tears.. not like the outpour I had during the first watch.
I think it does have to do with a change of circumstances.. and in a way I feel a tad less connected/focused/concentrated on the anime when someone else is watching.
Still, that's not to say 08 and 09 weren't heart-rending.. they really were.. they just didn't want me to eat my heart out.. so to speak.- ^^
Also hit Nana 18 and its seriously good stuff.. quality quality production as I remembered it and the drama is mature, steady and carefully progressive. 47 Episodes certainly accomodate it.
Durarara 4 was great...
Ookami Kakushi is now a comedy. Ep4 was a rather funny episode.
Sora no Woto is excellent and keeps getting better.
Note to Self:
Castle in the Sky
My Neighbor Totoro
Ponyo
... are all getting 2-Disk Special Edition US Blu-ray Releases on March the 2nd.
Here's hoping they will be region free. [along with Evangelion 1.11 but I'm highly doubtful because Funimation aren't nice people it seems]
Aren't all Blu-Rays region free, or does that only apply to games?

Games I believe.
The majority of Funimations American releases are Region-Locked. And it really sucks.
Who wants the 500th post?
Just a heads up though [no pun intended], Durarara is now being released by Ecliptic-BSS, and they are rated higher Frostii on the AniDB - who have up to ep 6 - not that that matters much to some of you - but for those who have had BSS subs know they are good stuffs.. so stop stalling and catch up as they released eps 7 & 8!
