Endless Paradigm

alrighty, I watched Ep 1 of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and School Days last night..

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (lets just call it SZS) is about a Teacher who can only see everything in a negative light, and is negative about absolutely anything - there is no 'hope' for his life.. or anyone elses.

So, he decided to kill himself by hanging himself off a Cherry Blossom tree at the start of Spring.

And he gets saved.

By a girl.. who can only see everything in a POSITIVE light and that EVERYONE has the chance of achieving anything. As theres always a chance it can happen. The exact opposite of the teacher.

Now she is paying the teacher so she can call him "Pink Supervisor" (too much to explain) and the story goes on from there.

The mix of the two and the classes the teacher does are ridiculous....

Conclusion : I can't wait to see more of this. Pure entertainment with odd animation techniques at times. Ep1 gets a 9/10 - Top Class Stuff.

Just finished Lucky Star 18 - was awesome as usual! New Characters too!

I dunno about Lucky Star and SZS, "Slice of Life" anime can get pretty old. I need at least
a sub-plot by episode 15 or I go nuts. @.@

I'm still catching up with all the anime I've missed this summer, but after watching lucky star, I
realized I have no sense of time in that show. It was summer in LS land a few eps ago, and then
new years, and exams, I mean, are wee gonna follow these ppl through college, or is high school
gonna drag on forever? Seriously concerned here.

What's gonna happen in SZS when they're done introducing all the classmates?

well New Characters are introduced into Lucky Star Episode 18..

and I believe when they finish introducing the classmates there will be 1/2 episodes then that's it..

I think its only 8 Episodes long O_O (that's what AniDB is saying) I hope not :/

Like this Series a lot, cute characters and an interesting story!
