ANN Wrote:[Image: 20100126mog00m200058000.jpg]The seventh and final Blu-ray Disc volume of the K-ON!  television anime series sold 31,000 copies in its first week to debut at #1 on Oricon's Blu-ray Disc chart for the week of January 18-24. It is the second K-ON! volume to sell over 30,000 Blu-ray Discs. (The first volume sold  33,000 copies in July.)

In the anime, director Naoko Yamada and Kyoto Animation adapted kakifly's K-ON! four-panel manga about four girls who try to rescue their high school's light music club. The seventh Blu-ray/DVD volume of the anime contains an extra episode that was not broadcasted during the anime's original television run.
I can't say this was unexpected... It probably would've topped without Ep14 as well :P
