the thing about av/s is they don't just slow your boot process they also slow your pc while in use especially doing file activities so i understand not wanting to use em. just never really heard of anyone being that brave enough to not want one on there system.
yeah i don't usually have any virus from my pc, until a usb stick was plugged in to my usb port, then poof, virus all over the place, and it now stick over the traymanager exe file, lol, and everytime i put a usb stick, the virus files keep getting back, lol

so yeah if an antivirus can't solve it, use a clean install instead
That can be fixed easily...It's worm that was released for the first Win 7 build. Install a good anti then plug a stick in. The anti should automatically remove it. (Mine does anyway...)

yeah ive tried to remove, and yeah it was seen by my anti, but, then again, after cleaning it, then formated my usb stick, the virus still infect my usb stick after exploring the usb drive

but yeah, haven't tried combofix and cccleaner, might clean my registry later
easiest way - copy files you need from the stick then format it. the files copied will be detected most likely then you just clean em and that should be that.
Running W7 build 7600 with ESET smart security 4.
No worries, bro. Firewall stops stuff communicating with the internet without my permission, antivirus scans and deletes anything that I inadvertantly download. the pack works, and it's pinged everything that got in so far, even my false-positive programs.

And why would you, Joomla, open anything that was pinged as containing a virus?

Also, AdAware plus installs adware, by the way, so I uninstalled it, and said goodbye to it forever.

now that's irony.
