Yap, seems like Ima be installing Windows again in the near future...I've got a virus that keeps jumping from EXE to EXE and everytime my anti finds it, it jumps to another. Half of my poo poo has already been quarantined including Task Manager....

dam viruses, they piss me off

How do you not know that you don't have one then? This was just an accident I guess....I unpacked an EXE and then boom...So this won't be too big of a deal. Worse case scenario is a Windows reinstall.

But I just did one not even a month ago.... :(

Does the virus actually do anything?
If not, add it's current location to the exception list, and leave it. I think it's main party trick is to make your antivirus quarantine every exe in your comp.

It's called Virut.NBP...Google it if you want. My anti has stopped deleting EXEs so I'm going to restore them after the scan is done...This anti cleans the code from the EXE (I'm assuming...) since many weren't even deleted.
