I'm pretty stupid but had a thought. The 1032 values is it possible there is something right before or after it that points to another file or location? More like 1032 is really a null value that gets interpreted to something else according to the values before or after it?

@Schmilk: about the unheard of party, were you being serious or am I gullible?

@vegetano1: I think wee are thinking something similar

What if the 1032 values are only filler of sorts?

yes,. that's whot i mean,. by redirecting to rco,. there suposed to be/or is posibility that there are still unused id's in the rco's that can be used, like the UMD video rco's,.

Also the shared icons from music player/photo and contentbrowser rco's also have 0 value's and are redirected to the content_browser.rco

EDIT: @xopher yes,.
hmmm......wonder if it has something to do with the new duality introduced in this firmware? By that I mean being able to select between the "classic" and "original" backgrounds to changes waves.....long shot but that is a major change to the XMB

What is it that allows the selection of the two background styles? Anyone figure that out yet?
%^^ yes you are right it def got something to do with the 2 different waves! Madwin
that's the reason why the floats are shrared/redirected,.... makes sense to me!
works the same as the icons in datapage of music & photo rco's,... redirected to content_browser,. sure looks like that
I haven't looked inside any prx yet, wonder if there's any newly introduced files or where they've placed the new motherload. I want to hunt now too.

EDIT: I think I'm starting to see a pattern

EDIT: I'm just a moron

100% serious!  I was just shown the output file and inside i am drooling over the values of vshmain that wee have all come to know and love!!!

Full XMB Themes are 100% possible once this uber dude writes this program!!

Also...wee will see offsets that wee have never known before due to the fact that whatever programming skills he has gives him the ability to know what offsets are used and not used...I have a 1288 byte file that is all of the vshmain 32bit float offsets!

search for -130 and i get 5 instances
search for -168 and i get 8 instances
search for 122 and i get 2 instances

Let me tell you...this guy is brilliant and will make the xmb theme scene go KABOOOM!
Wait...isn't the whole scene exploding a BAD thing???

Gongxi
This sounds like great news!! Wonder if he'll unearth anything about theory of 3D objects as icons, possible animating like rotating. Like the wave in xero1's demonstrations with the XMB wave. Exciting times.
Leaving stuff to the haxxors is always the best idea. Unless its a theme...
