Shoot-em-ups are fun, but there's never really any big ones, and I doubt I could really play one for a long time.
Raptor was fun, though you could buy items, which kinda made it easy if you sucked (like I do).
wow...didnt realise i never voted on this
I like shumps, just not as much as other genres i suppose
1st Person Shooters for me! Been so since Doom Shareware edition on my 486!!
But anything where i control something and kill other things and there is blood suites my interest...
cannot.
Can't stand strategy games...ESPECIALLY turn based...'here I will just sit here and take you damage until it is my turn to attack' :( Sorry Charlie...that spoon ain't gonna work..you gott dodge and move and get out of the way!
Pretty much the only reason I gave into a Final Fantasy game was how Crisis Core handled the attacks. I did buy Final Fantasy VII for hte pc when it came out cause o the graphics and 'how great it was' according to some stoner friends at the time...yeah it wasn't for me....
but games will always be a part of my life :)
Fighting is my favorite video game genre, for sure.
ah so that is shumps, now i know, hehehe i thought its some kind of burgerking special, lol
yeah i also like that one, i have grown it with galaga, galaxian, and bwings, old school game rocks
i will always love RPGs such as final fantasy!!
but platform games are just awsome as well!
FPS and TPS.
I also enjoy RTS, but NOT WARCRAFT. I hate warcraft and it's subsidaries with a passion.
Action RPGs fail hard in my book. Either you stand still and take turns attacking, with cooldown (FF7, 8), or move and bash the snot out of bad guys (Kingdom Hearts) BUT NOT A FUSION OF THE TWO. (FF13) I mean, being able to move, but having 20 second move cooldown? No.
I have yet to meet a simulation I didn't like.
