I don't think the ending is sad at all actually.

Need to try Air sometime though.  I'm not easily depressed :P

I liked KGNE, but that was when I first saw it. I got it on High Quality now but I couldn't bring myself to watching it =/.. I don't think I'll like it as much if I watch it again.

Same here - I think the way it's driven, you shouldn't really know what's going to happen (just like life is uncertain).  I might watch the dub if it comes out.

i think theres a dubbed one. i wne looking for this and found a site called stage6 which has another Anime is the same category (specific uploader»Kimi ga Nozomu Eien»)theres somethingh called Runbmlnig hearts which seems to be the same but the voices irritiated me, so i went subbed instead

I'll check that Rumbling Hearts thing out. I'd prefer a link though <.<...

Last time I heard, they hadn't finished dubbing - IDK - too lazy to check it out... >_>
