If this does work on the slim, I'm gonna get the Darth Vader edition one :D
And Sony already confirmed that the PSP V1 batteries will work in the Slim/Lite, you'll just need a special battery cover to hold it, because it's twice as thick. So unless they scrap all their official unbricker batteries for a new one, this should work.
that's what wee all are hoping.
yeah I hope it works or im not getting one.
I'm still in shock that this actually happened. It'll work fine regardless of motherboard, right?
this is all sinking in now, possible slim/lite modding out of the box, but also they said in the release notes this could lead to a whole new OS for the psp, think about that spoon....

from what I heard yes it will work on ta-82-86 with no problem since it doesn't touch idstorage.
Then it will work on the slims without a doubt. The reason is that the only anti-hacking change in the new PSP is the brand-spankin'-new TA-085 motherboard. Since it doesn't mess with the IDStorage, wee should be able to downgrade them without a problem. Damn, I'm in a good mood now.
ahh, but as DAX pointed out, as they won't have support for 1.5, wee will need to full crack 3.6 (should be easy using thwe new custom IPL's theyre now able to make
now my lumines and gta lcs would be useless but id still keep it cause it might come handy someday.hehehe
Holy spoon. My internet's been running at 6kbps, yes, SIX kbps for the past week or so...
I finally get online (still at like, 12kbps (fudge you, Telecom!)) and read this?!?
I'm honestly in a state of shock! (Good shock)!
Sony's honestly in a state of shock! (BAD shock)!
So, just to clarify, EVERY single PSP you can get right now, EVERY single firmware, bricked or not, can be downgraded?
