Its too late to mod the PSPSlim, so wee'll just have to wait and see

What do you base that on?

False hope...why do you ask? :P
Be careful though, the IDStorage is still damaged by this process, wee don't know what effect this will have.
Well, after a day of shopping around I now have 9 working PSP's all with 3.52 M33-4.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank noobz for the copious amounts of alcohol I'm about to consume from the profits.
I will soon have 5 psp's

the recovery firmware can be ported to use other kernels instead of 1.50 one. It is just that the 1.50 is more "friendly" for deving. And now that custom ipl is possible, there is no need of 1.50 kernel to boot cfw either.

Yeah i read a post from Dark he said that this may cause UMD Reder not to work ,, not a problem ,, and some region problems ... Also somebody else mentioned about after unbricking go to firmware 2.0 and the MPH downgrader back to 1.5 , if this don't help you can still try to fix the Keys using chilly willy app , by getting keys from somebody with the same MObo ... if you brick what you loose ...
lol gsmoke lol
woot i got some bricked psp's to find
More info uploaded in the original file From Dark Alex , only TXT files.

Quote: HOW-TO: Restore a battery used for unbricking - unbrick without buying a spare!
If you only have one battery and want to unbrick your PSP, you can.

1) Convert your battery into a jigkick one using "Pandora's Battery Creator",
but before you press X, press TRIANGLE
to backup your battery's EEPROM to ms0:/eeprom.bin

2) Unbrick your PSP as normal     (i like this line)

3) When you are done unbricking, take out the battery and the magic memory stick.
Start up the PSP using the AC adaptor (do not try to use a USB charger,
it will not start up)

4) Insert the magic memory stick and the magic battery

5) Run "Pandora's Battery Creator" again

6) Press L+R to restore the ms0:/eeprom.bin to your battery

NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup,
by pressing SQUARE at step 6.
This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678)
which allows it to work normally, but there could be side-effects.

Have fun, and thanks to everyone in the Prometheus/C+D team.

UMD reader? as in the UMD drive? That's not good. O_O

If it can screw up your IDStorage that badly, I dunno if this is a good downgrade method. As an unbricking method, it's definitely useful. If you've got a perma-brick I don't think you're too worried about messing up IDStorage.

If the IDStorage borking turns out to be entirely false, or they update the program, making that not happen, I may be downgrading a lot of PSPs soon. Got a spare battery coming via UPS.
