The psp Slim has been tested and no luck for now , but the MS reader light blinks for a seconds... there is still hope :p
Gamedeals Wrote: [ -> ]I was at PAX this weekend and they had the PSP slim tethered to some hired "promo girls". I was hoping to talk to some actual Sony reps, but there were none. Of course, after I realized that there were no Sony reps there, I nicely asked the girl if I could "try if my battery worked on the slim". I had Pandora's battery & the hacked memory card on me so I figured why the hell not. I had tested them on a normal PSP and they work like a charm... but on the slim it does not work (yet). I turned the unit off and took out the UMD, put in my memory stick, then Pandora. The battery tried to load something, but I just got a blank screen. Hopefully this just means that the battery works, but the memory stick needs a tweak, but I can't be sure... all I do know is that it won't work as it stands right now.

Well not totally unsigned, as the ipl is partially signed... but by us not by Sony :D

A wise idea :

create another magic memstick but this time with a dumped 1.50 firmware files. then copy the battery creator app on psp/game. That's
my setup now, I'll change my battery to a jigkick one, unbrick/dg a friends unit, after that pop in the magic ms with 1.50, run the battery creator, change it to normal mode. though I want to make it better buy being able to launch the pandora menu via xmb if its possible.

could it be that pandora works but PSP Slim is incabable of reading the original firmware files?

Well i think that its probably the new mainboard , it may have restriction by hardware using firmwares below 3.60 , but this state is already know with the TA-82-86 , and its was done. Its a matter of time first the psp needs to be released and who knows...

Well, once its released on September 10, I'm sure D_A and his crew will go straight to work on getting it hacked.
