From the emulation side. Things are looking pretty cool. If wee can run emulators on it that is.
Wondering about the size?

Yup, it's less portable than a PSP-3000. Who cares?
fukken impressed.

Can't wait to see what happens next.

Hmm, yeah. Considering I don't need to carry my PSP in my pockets in the first place. The PSP2's size is hardly a problem.
PSP2 seems to be only marginally bigger than the PSP1.

Now, regarding screen size.  5in in 16:9 means it's 4.35in (11.05cm) x 2.47in (6.27cm) giving 221dpi.  On the other hand, PSP1 is 3.74in (9.50cm) x 2.12in (5.38cm) giving 128dpi.  So screen is about 1.5cm wider and 1cm taller.
Would've liked a 1280x720 screen (294dpi at 5in; great for 720p videos), but I'm guessing the PSP2 wants to (or at least, wanted to) have compatibility with PSP1 games, due to this resolution being twice the width and height exactly. (possibly also restrictions on OLED resolutions, but IDK much about that)  Wonder if this will be the case.

Am a bit worried about the heat issues they're having though.
I can't really see a slim line happening. I mean the PSP go! Just got rid of the UMD drive and placed the buttons under a slider screen which was still the same size.
Fitting the buttons under a sliding screen for the PSP2 probably wouldn't quite work because of what Sony have happening behind the device in the first place, some touch pad or something.
So they killed the XMB user interface :( Somehow i hate Android now ................ .   .        .                  .
i don't usually put my psp phat in my pocket so its very ok with me with that size

well wee'll just wait for E3 for the prices and the battery life

Yay for no more sliding power switch.  Is there a hold function though?
Also, is that a non-standard USB port I see there?

Not sure about placing buttons at the bottom - I sometimes hold the device along there.
