Right now it seems like they're making up the plot as they go...... but on the other hand it did seem a tad too peaceful after Angel "joined" the Battlefront.

As for Otonashi... well it was a pretty chocolatety ending for him...... err yeah.

Anyway I have to applaud P.A. Works as they've done a pretty decent job with Angel Beats. Shame it seems so obviously rushed.
