Yes I agree.

I have to say, the quality of it is pretty amazing though it's hard for me to judge - this is the first VN I've started.
Nice music and the art is nice. I like the story so far too.
All you people who think a fan made VN has really amazing art and music and stuff, you should go try this.
Aiyoku no Eustia Demo, only like 3-4hrs long or something, so not a big time investment. Even compared to most commercial VNs, this has really amazing art, music, storytelling, everything. You won't regret it.

Katawa Shoujo is a fan work born from 4chan. Ofcourse it's free.
As for it's production, I admit it's probably good for a fan work....I think (I haven't really played any comparable fan work yet. I mean, no point comparing against joke works like this or this. Edit: Oh yeah, I played Narcissu a long long long time back, but Narcissu is holds a special place in my heart, and no random fan work from the present can ever hope to compete with that fond memory of the past).
No comment on writing, as I only really spent 5 minutes ctrl-ing through looking at pictures right now.

There is supposed to be sound. Both on the title screen and in the game.

How'd you get it on the phone?
Grab Linux source code and compile it? Can't imagine it to be that simple though (would need porting + fixes for controls).
Or some x86 emulator (slow?)?
