The only good thing about Death Note is the story, it doesn't have good action/fighting scenes, it doesn't have good emotional scenes, it doesn't have particularly outstanding visuals or sound, it doesn't really have good anything besides for the story. You know the story already.

It's been a while since I've seen Death Note but after reading that post, I can't help but agree. heh...and I used to think so highly of it.

I'm not saying Death Note is bad, I'm just saying that re-watching it would suck, because the story is the only really good thing about it, and well, he already knows the story.

I never liked the ending I wish it lasted longer.
It's like lucky star short and sweet and it leaves u asking for more...

No no, I'm not trying to saying it's bad either. pretty much that re-watching would suck. Since, like you said, the most memorable thing about it is the story.

Lol, I though it was too long. I mean, Death Note was like so much better when it was just Light and L. After <spoiler> dies, the rest of the stuff and Near and Mellow and whatever feels like an add-on, and really isn't at the same level as the previous stuff.

However in the manga kira goes off to live in the world of the shinigamiz
It just left me hanging. -_-

It's not the rewatch issue.
I generally don't find rewatching as bad as you do. Besides, they changed the ending in the movie (it's fairly obvious they wouldn't fit the whole story in the time without some modifications).
The thing I don't like is mentioned in the previous spoiler.

As for other aspects of the story, they gloss over a number of details (expected, as they've got less time to fit stuff in), but some things I felt they went over a bit too quick - in that regard, it's probably better that I've seen the TV series before so I understand what the writers are trying to demonstrate. On the other hand, I felt they could've skipped some other details that they decided to include.
