I saw this a while ago on a Chinese and Japanese site, the author seems to be the one on the Japanese site.
I had some spare time and a Fat PSP with CFW 5.00M33-6 lying around, so i decides to give it try :)
It allows you to use the Prometheus module on 5.00M33-6! Yay

So you can run games requiring FW 5.xx - 6.20 on 5.00M33-6, you don't need to upgrade to GEN. Adore

You can use back-ups as well as UMD's

1. Get the latest 5.03 Prometheus files and extract them somewhere.

2. Use the file "prometheus_lite.prx" from the Prometheus folder and copy to: flash0:/kd/

3. Use the file "Prometheus_key.txt" from the Prometheus folder and copy to: flash1:/

4. Use the file "Stargate.prx" and copy to: ms0:/seplugins/

5. Edit the file "game.txt" in ms0:/seplugins/ and add the line: ms0:/seplugins/stargate.prx 1

*You can access flash by using the recovery menu, advanced, toggle USB. Then choose the flash you wish to open.
*If you have problems running some games, just disable the Stargate plugin.

Thanks to:
liquidzigong for Prometheus
DA aka Dark Alex for M33.
And all others who contributed to the PSP scene.

Edit: tried Metal Gear Solid - Peace Walker (ULUS-10509) through usb-loader and Soul Calibur Broken Destiny UMD Disc (ULES-01298); both run fine :)
