I know funimation as one of those copyright niggers who flips their shit anytime anyone posts anything that has any of their content in it. And yet sitting right here an official video by them uploaded...

I hate Funimation. They Dub everything I love and kill it . ( 99.99999998% of their chocolate ) Dammit

example : Clannad - Greg Ayres who plays Sunohara , doesn't fit the character IMHO .
His Squealy high-pitch voice which pi$$es me off as well doesn't help. ( I can see their reasoning for casting him Burning

)

just choose Japanese lanugage on the disc?

I don't want them to die, otherwise all i'd have is discs with NO english on them at all. I use subs and watch with Japanese Audio

Most of the anime they have done , I've purchased from amazon.co.jp and ripped and hard-subbed myself from fansubs.

Lol, if you're going to just use the fansubs anyway, why not use the fansubs directly? Why bother to buy a disk, then rip the video off it, then get subs from fansubs, then hardsubs the fansub subs with the video. And then the timing might not be perfect, so you might also need to re-time it...

That sounds like a whole crapload of unnecessary effort to me. Also, you may as well use the R2 subs if you're going to do that.

I'm fine with their dubs even if I haven't listened to many.
