But nukka, why would the card have anything to do with it if the video plays fine on a computer monitor with the same analog cable? Very puzzling if you ask me...

i think the VGA inputs on some tv's are fairly crappy, maybe that is the issue? with my tv (i don't think I've hooked up my comp to it with VGA, only DVI » HDMI, which works pretty well except for displaying rather dark) i tried connecting my 360 with the VGA cable, and it wouldn't recognize it. my brand is westinghouse, 32" something something

Issues here.
AMD (Dual core something that Im to drunk to memember 2.2 anyways...)
4g Badass OCZ Ram
RadeonX800 Series (Saphire X300SE)
2 Viewsonic VA902b's and a "High Definition Ready" Toshiba widescreen 50HDX82, (connected via dvi).

The resolution (on the 50") resets whenever turned on or off to 800X600.
Different cards and cables were tested with same results.

Know why?

I'll tell you after you ask why your Pre-802.11n router starts giving you troubles with an approved 802.11n wifi card.

It's all about the Benjamins...

Edit: forgot to ad it's fixed by turning the tv on and onff a few times...

huh weird stuff... so when you restart your comp, it recognizes your 50" tv, but sets the resolution to 800X600, and turning the TV on and off a few times fixes this?

RE: i finaly hooked my comp to the 50 inch and i gots some video probs
I was drunk so I have to clarify...
Turning the TV on and off a couple times will center it on the screen, otherwise its in a random spot, either too high or too low and carrying over into the top or bottom.
This doesn't change the fact that winblows resets the resolution to 800x600 on reboot.
This happens with multiple tested cards (PCI-E and PCI).

I blame the fact that its a "HD ready", tv... There was no way to see if DVI even worked when it was bought.
Havent tested RGB cables and don't care enough to.
