Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I recently have updated my PSP 2001 Slim series 5.00m33-6 to 5.50 gend3 and Prometheus-2 and it seems like M33 were Faster to load the ms and the xmb

is there anyway to speed it up?
like m33 were

er... plugins like ultimate vsh menu and cxmb...

You can use the fatMS mod, that will make it a little faster, but still not as fast as M33's Speed Up MS function.

And don't bother with flashing the M33 recovery.prx to GEN. All that will do is let you toggle the ms speed up option in recovery. But it wil not make any speed up difference...

So can you have fatMS mod on a Phat PSP? Also can you use fatMS on 5.00 M33-6 with the speed up mem stick option?

I have attached one that I used on my SLIM.
I guess any time you write to flash, there is a small chance of bricking.
But, with that said, you should be fine.

No. DAX has recommended you do not use fatMS mod on m33-6

EDIT: By the way - I realize the attachment says for 5.00, but it works fine on 5.50. ;)

In my Gend3 recovery menu has the option to speed the ms... is it the same of fatsmod 5.00?

no it won't do anything.

Slim psps running gen can run the orginal fatsmod patch for 5.00 fine and it works

if you have a fat psp on gen you have to run a special fatsmod patch some guy made for it to work.

im sure Mr. Shizzy coverd this all already.

buy a sandisk gaming card and you will see both firmware are fast :)

ís possible to ise the fastms mod from 5.00m33-6 ? cause it is much faster than the fatms mod from 3.71
