external hd formatted for mac not responding in windows
i have none of the original software or anything...
not really sure of how to do this.
thanks in advance!
edit: safely remove hardware is showing a removable usb mass storage, but nothing shows in my comp

idk but i had the exact same thing with a .5tb firewire disk formatted for mac
so i gave up

edit: think i got it
control panel » administrative tools » computer management » storage » disc management
right click the drive and hit form a new partition, or whatever it was... can't remember. it's formatting now...

i don't know, it was partitioned and formatted for a mac, and worked fine with it.
i figured when i plugged it into my pc, xp would recognize it as formatted for mac or something and offer to format it for pc. instead it just did nothing :]
