Games like a Grrl Wrote:Ok, so if I buy a psp 2000, I can use this to install m33?  Which versions of the psp 3000 can this be done on, is it just the TA-088v3 you need to avoid or is it TA-088v3 and everything after?

Ehh, I have 2 1000's, I really don't need another.

You really don't need a 2000 or 3000 either <.<

RE: Davee has new Kernel exploit, PSP 3000 HEN coming soon?
UPDATE: 04-28-09

According to Magixien at PSPGEN no additional security will be added to Davee's HEN contrary to this post.

Quote:Hack PSP-3000: the HEN Dave is coming ... patience!

Davee has confirmed that HEN is running but it still faces some problems with a module that refuses to work well on PSP-3000.

To date, there is a bug in the module rebootex Davee but that still works more than ever to its resolution. In his defense, it should be understood that the PSP-3000 has no tools debuguage to an analysis of input / output and nothing appears on the screen. It must test each patch individually and this takes time.

Moreover, it is not as releaser will not work perfectly and it is to his credit. To the question "when?", The most reasonable answer is "as soon as possible." So patience.

Incidentally, he also confirmed that his HEN will not support ISO but that, contrary to what a post it might suggest, it will add no additional security to make the difficult task to another encoder that would like to add this support. This post in the forum had been the subject of anger against those who attacked and did not choose the subject.

You are thus informed of the latest news and date information has been provided directly by Davee (conversation between MSN and Davee MaGiXieN).

UPDATE: 04-29-09

Demo video of PSP 5.03 HEN exploit in action

Be patient, everyone. Davee's HEN Kernel exploit will eventually arrive given time. To tide over that wait, here's a little video demonstrating the 5.03 HEN in action. This one was posted by Granite, one of the beta testers of Davee (Team Typhoon).

Here's his little note about the video (check out that last line - wee still have something to expect for later!):

This is a demo of the 5.03 firmware running the tiff exploit and booting into a HEN environment on a PSP 2003 (3000 Support also) on 5.03 Official Firmware. This proves that the code survives a reboot and the system software and MAC address can be changed. This is something that only can be done with a kernel exploit. A video launching homebrew will be posted later.
