The thing is, now that this has happened in USA I'm certain they're soon gonna do this in England/UK.

There's a possibility that the UK and the rest of Europe could be divided on this matter.

Yeah, the UK, although to an extent independant of the EU, would never be able to pass this without the EU's support, since its too big. And the EU won't support this (hopefully...)
