REALLY sorry i took so long to get back but what with personal issues and the site being down as well it was out of my hands.
ok i did a quick check - the 3.80 vshmain can work on 3.93 cfw (don't know if it will cause issues but im going to be testing it out), so i tried adding the 7th menu on my phat (tv menu) and it does not show. there is definetly some kind of protection to prevent it from showing on a phat. unless that can be hacked theres no way to have it via the 7th menu. now that leaves the only other option - adding it to another menu (say video maybe), which i have tried and it will not show - you say you already did this by hacking it into the network menu so im guessing you did that via the rco's. perhaps in combination with editing the vshmain you can combine both to make it work. sorry i havnt been much help but now at least you know you can use a 3.80 vshmain on the 3.93 and that you should be able to edit quickly without hexing.
