How can i get the 1SEG icon to show on my fat psp? I tried changing the region to Japan but that doesn't work. There has to be a way to hex edit it onto the psp fats xmb screen right? I hex edited the skype icon and the connected display icons on there....is there a way to hex edit the vshmain.prx file to show it on the fat's xmb homescreen? you have to activate tv main icon use an app or something

yes someone over the net is thinking the same question as you, but i think it needed a program built in psp just like skype and go messenger to use the 1seg in you phat, i havent not use it in my psp though

I'm on 3.90m33-3. And to everyone else, why is it i can fool my psp into having the skype and connected display icons but not the 1seg? The psp slim doesn't need the 1seg tuner connected to actually have the icon on the xmb...

well let me ask you a question... why do you need it anyways? you can't use 1seg outside of japan so it useless if you don't live there.... yes your gonna have to get the main tv icon somehow... it only shows under that.. i don't think the firmware installer puts all the files for it on the fat due to lack of flash size... if you just want it to say you have, its seems like alot of trouble for nothing really.. i mean maybe you could hex it to point to something else other that 1seg to run something else but that would be the only use on a fat
