Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Hey guys, don't know if that's the right place, but I wanted to know if gameboots and fonts could full brick the PSP. I have heard about some semi bricks, but I want to know if there is a full brick risk.

Oh, and is the gameboot/font/cintro replacement that simple? (access your flash0, locate the file, backup the file, replace the file...)

I don't think it can fully brick. I havnt heard anyone , know anyone or i havent whos had one. Plus i think cintros go on your memory stick

fonts can semi-brick, gameboots don't, if the gameboot is missing you get greeded by a white screen, intead of the video

Ive never bricked by replacing a gameboot or font.
And yes, the cintro goes on your MS.

But they work in 3.90 M33-2? And for being in the MS, is there any chance of brick?

They don't work on The newer CFW's, because of something, forgot what it was lol.

There is no chance of bricking your PSP by changing themes.

Make sure you back up all original files before you do anything.

I'm not sure if Cintro works in 3.90

Well, I don't want to change themes (I use PTF)... I just want to change the gameboot and the fonts, but I want to know what must I do if the PSP semibricks (don't turn on, but enter recovery), i need to replace the files?

If It Ever Does Brick I Think The Only Thing To Do Is Use Pandora If You Are Using A Fat PSP Or Use Despertar del Cementerio Or If It Semi-Bricks Just Copy The Files From Your Flash0 And Overwrite Them And It Should Fix Your Semi-Brick Problem :D
