1. don't use the editors recompression
2. don't flash from vsh's recovery menu use real recovery menu
3. delete the orginal file(after backing it up)before flashing modded file
I followed these steps and all is working fine, modded those 2 .prx's and flashed without recompression.
My modded paf is 1.8mb and my modded vshmain is 345kb's.

all my prx modding works fine only the main icon can't get down for my Applecor theme. I used the right offset and even the decompressed would not work... Verry strange... Has some tried out this offset?

just download takeshi's recompressor - it works.

please attach the recompressor that you have because with all the filenames almost identical and with all the versions, it tends to get really confusing - do you have 3.80? thanks.

talking about reviving dead threads.
when i posted this i was on 3.71. i don't know if takeshis compressor works with 3.80 however ac_k's custom xmb editor can edit and recompress 3.80 files.

this sucks for me :( takeshi works up to 3.52 - atleast that is what i have. ac_k v.0.4 still fails to recompress my prx's - i am using bstronga's headers at that. since you said ac_k works - could you please give me the headers that you have and also - which option should i choose before 'go compress'? 3.71/380? 3.51/3.52? vsh or kernel?
