What?

To compress manually or to compress with a certain tool?

I'm totally lost, people say it works but don't say exactly who they do it.

I just want to compress paf.prx and vshmain.prx :

I'd just like a definitive answer or even quick guide on how to compress these 3.71 PRX's :(

Using the updated(10/03/07) paf and vshmain editors from this site:http://sowhat.sokowonantoka.com/
I've been able to edit the 3.71 paf.prx and vshmain.prx and flash them to module folder with no problem.
1. don't use the editors recompression
2. don't flash from vsh's recovery menu use real recovery menu
3. delete the orginal file(after backing it up)before flashing modded file
I followed these steps and all is working fine, modded those 2 .prx's and flashed without recompression.
My modded paf is 1.8mb and my modded vshmain is 345kb's.

uncommpressed in this age of customizing is unaceptable!!!! :P
