a little care is all it takes. my advice to you now is get a spare battery and make it a pandora battery and also get a memory stick and make it into a pandora one - with it you can almost always fix your psp should anything bad happen.

yeah that's what I'm planning to do, but i can't find any stores where i live that sell PSP Batteries :( I'm probably looking at the wrong places :P
as for the memory stick, that's easy to get another one :D

except eBay, but i don't trust eBay with that sorta stuff
I've bought other things on there so i do like eBay (like my phone :D Nokia 6233 ;)) and some other stuff
all i want is some retail store to have one, like this place called DickSmith Electronics, which is right near my house
