Hi everyone, I've been on and off here for the last months but I have an excuse!! My PC was not functioning as I stated in a previous post but I decided to build a new one now that I had the chance. It was a daunting task but after actually assembling it I now see that it is a lot simpler than I imagined. That moment when all the fans turned on and everything booted up normally on the first try was a glorious feeling indeed. Now I can be here more often even though it's not as active as it was before
pics and specs below
Excuse any imperfections, still new to all this :D
Case: Corsair Carbide 200R
Power Supply: EVGA 600 B 80 Plus 600W
Video Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 970
Storage: 1TB Seagate HDD
Storage: Samsung 128GB SSD
Operating System: MS Windows 8.1
Optical Drive: ASUS Blu-ray/DVD Drive
Motherboard: MSI LGA1150 H97 Mobo
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB
CPU: Intel i5-4590
Loving it so far. The ASUS variant has his feature where the gpu fans won't turn on unless it's under heavy load so during regular Web browsing and playing light games it is very quiet. :0
Would definitely recommend this card

More cards need to have automatic fan scaling - I've had to manually change the fan speeds of some as I can get annoyed at whirring noise.
