RE: PC Build 4 (in-progress)

so i have made the following changes / alterations

I'm going to need a new PSU from my 550w. it seems like that caused my older unit to die (PC build 3)

plus the Capture device is working like i wanted it to:

RE: PC Build 4 (in-progress)
I wonder how fast the Seagate 3TB drive is at booting.  You may find that the difference for a higher density slower RPM to be not that different to really matter...

Otherwise looks good.  Quality of the capture from a quick 5 second looks a bit pixelated, but maybe that's just Youtube.

this is the case before i messed with anything. showing you mostly how clean it is inside before i go and add stuff to it
[Image: DSC00066_zpsa42700f7.jpg]
the 550w power supply which is dead weight in this system (suggested use in last build but good thing it was rejected)
the completed setup. with messy cabling.
where the system is now lying. the outside cables need cleaning as well since i don't need the ones on the far left at the moment

i still have somethings to do with the machine itself (such as install linux on it) and maybe some other adjustments before really calling off the work on the machine. but the build itself is done and its was really annoying 5 day project with so much pain included.

but I'm throwing things on there to test how powerful this thing is (i doubt i will install the PS2 emulator on it as i already have other machines for it)

@Zinga: i will test the machine next time i do a cold boot to see how much time it needs to boot. (it doesn't seem like really much time is needed)

RE: PC Build 4 (complete)
well it took a bit but i was finally able to test the machine's boot time without window's update getting in the way

total time: 45 seconds, 29 seconds post-bios to get to the log-in prompt on windows
