By your logic, any handheld consoles shouldn't exist. A PSP has a smaller screen than my phone.

I have to say something sacrilegious but I never enjoyed any PSP games
My hands and eyes always got tired of the tiny thing. Please don't kill me guys.

they're doing anything but that.
they're keeping it going because small priced games but more often, plus DL makes money. Games studios are businesses, not people dedicated to keeping gaming the same as it's always been.
I don't like casual games either, but that's what the masses buy, and therefore that's what studios make money on.

I've played GTA III on an iPod (Touch) and it was all right. I just had to get used to the "touch" controls

So when a person gets bored on their daily commute to work, they have to lug around a TV, a console and a mini nuke in their bag? It'd be impossible at a bus stop let alone for some casual Businessman or some schoolkid on a packed train.

RE: What's with games...
Ok, here comes my old man speech...
My phone is a basic nokia that I've had for years... It texts and calls, does what it's supposed to.
I refuse to get some top-notch phone that has a million capabilities simply because there is more to go wrong. I know several people that have recently got new phones, I've saved their number, and then can't get hold of them 2 weeks down the line because their phone died, crashed, bricked, etc.
As I've dug in this far I'll go on...
What really irks me are those people that walk around 'blastin tunes' out of their phones - who wants to listen to music that is really tinny with no bass or sound quality? I have a Kenwood Hi-fi system from around 10 years ago designed for music enthusiasts, and the main speakers are 300W a piece - sure, I can't take that on the train, but when I listen to music, I REALLY listen to music.
The same points apply for TV capability, internet surfing, and GAMING. I can let up on the camera side of it as to be fair, camera phones are on par with digital cameras.
Bottom line for me is, rather than have a jack-of-all-trades phone, I'd much rather have each feature seperately. That way, if the phone dies, jumps in the toilet or gets nicked, I haven't lost my entire span of tech stuff.
Oh yeah, one more thing. I'd love to see someone play something like Tekken on their phone!

You must know some pretty dumb people, because it's not an easy task to brick a smart phone unless you're trying to. And even if they brick (provided your bootloader is still in tact on Android), it's pretty simple to reflash the firmware.

I have Bose sound cancellation buds with Dolby 5.1; 125 dB and 5 ohms. They sound pretty nice with my phone.

The cool thing about smart phones is that they allow you to remotely track their exact location. Some applications allow you to remotely sound an alarm, text you the pinpoint address of the phone, and even remotely brick the device. And who only uses their phone for EVERYTHING? In this day and age, if you don't have a TV, then you're probably homeless or about to die of old age. Also, they come with warranties.

Wiimote + BtStack. I can play games on my phone using a Wii Classic controller and Bluetooth.
