So i accidently dropped water on to my laptop. while i was getting a towel it tuned off. I dried it for maybe ten minutes upside down. it turned on but shut off soon enough. i dried it for another ten minutes and turned it on. it got to the desktop but soon turned off. im now letting it dry naturally upside down on my desk.

What else should i do? how long should i wait?

im almost positive it's going to work again because plugged the charger reaaaaallly quick to see if the charge icon would blink up and it did :] i just want to make sure it does though.

Don't turn it on properly until your sure its dry, you may have shorted it but put it near something warm on top of a towel or something for a few hours.

Turn on the laptop whilst it's completely submerged in water.
It clearly wants it - you've effectively teased it by only giving it a bit of water, quickly drying it off, and now it's getting temperamental and needs more.

leave it for a day or more , take out all the pieces you can , like :
Battery
HDD
Ram....everything you can.
and leave it apart 24 to 48 hours and in hot and dry room if possible.
I could suggest put it in a bag with dry bread and rice beans , but leave it in a hot room , i think it will be enough.
After that look at the connectors of the battery for example , and all the rest to see if you see some oxide , hheheh im overreacting but look at it.

I think it's a bit to late for this now~

If you spill spoon on your laptop turn the mother fudgeer of immediately, take the battery out, and throw it in rice.
