Patpat's back but brings grim news...
In a recent blog post (yes his blogs up now :D) Patpat brought us some sad news...
Patpat Wrote:Unfortunately, my home were robbed, my books, PSP, and Laptop (source code) have been plundered. Which means that all my PSP-related software such as CXMB, CTFtoolGUI, etc... may not be updated to 6.60, sorry friends. I have been working on the PSP unknowingly for three years, three years! Thanks to you for your continued support, perhaps you will see me on the PSVita, goodbye. :-)

Thank you patpat wee appreciate all you've done ^ ^

I will say however, Google translate is getting much better.
For non english people.
plundered = stolen

He should've kept off-site backups. Dropbox comes to mind. 2 GB (2.25 GB if you follow an invitation), would've been more than sufficient for ALL of his projects. Three years' work down the drain... Now that's unfortunate. I remember experiencing something similar but with subtitles. About two dozen films, subbed over the course of a year and a half, lost due to a HDD failure.
Always keep backups, people (on different drives, if possible. Not different partitions). Dropbox is a godsend in these type of situations.

IDK about Dropbox - I personally don't trust the 'cloud' enough yet. Plus it's over the internet, so slow if you don't have a fast connection (still better than completely losing it, but can be a pain to backup to).
I'm majorly screwed if my computer got 'borrowed'/destroyed, though being a desktop (and rather heavy), chances are a bit less.
Yes, I don't have enough backups, lol.
Anyway yeah really sucks!
