The first thing that came in to my mind when I read that was, lolwut?

Lyle Hall and Matthew Seymour of UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System developer Heavy Iron Studio, gave their opinion on the PS VIta and it's launch, Hall believes there are lessons to be learnt from the 3DS's slow sales so far, saying:

Well... Unlike the Android and iPhone, the PS Vita won't come with monthly service charges :/

Yea. And no... if you get the 3G one than you'll be paying monthly xD

But other wise yeah, it'll be free so that's a +1 on smart phones.

I've said this from the start. The PS Vita WILL be some competition for Smart phones I don't know if it'll actually be able to beat them, just because it doesn't have calling features and people are used to phones to do everything. But I think give it some time and it'll be some real competition.

DS failed because 3D hasn't really caught on yet. Vita isn't 3D, It should do fine :D

I'm not getting the 3G one, since it's with AT&T (in America). AT&T has horrible service in my area, so I'll be better off with the non-3G one.

So, I guess that's a plus for me, because I have WiFi at home and I don't leave the house.

First of 3DS and Vita are completely different, why on earth would they do the same~

Also I wouldn't trust some guy who's into sports to the point that his job somehow involves them on his idea of what gaming consoles is gonna do well or not : |

Vita can emulate what seems to be ps3 graphics, what smartphone can do that? HMMMMMMMMMMMM?

Vita is made for gaming so it's not gonna be running some os in the background while playing the game at the same time that is why it'll have the edge despite apparently using the same cpu

Also phones suck for gaming so once again no comparison

3DS was bound to fail, first off, it uses 3d big woop but people said its graphics were gonna be better than vita.. well guess what THEY AREN'T actually I don't even know if they can top some of the psp titles out there now though dunno~. : | They all assumed because of the processor was better (compaired to what? the psp?) or whatever that it was gonna be better, well let me tell you this, 3D means you need at minimum like 3 times the power to process the same images in 3d than in 2d : | You can learn this by running the psp 3d plugin and watch as it takes forever to run from one side of the screen to the other. SO THEY ALL DOOPING UP IN THERE~

Vita is going to be fine. : |
