With that in mind, some major grinding occured.  And the results?

Cameron, I'm counting on you to defeat Starmie.  Keep it busy with Sleep Powder, then.....well, you know the rest already.  That new attack should be extremely useful.

I looked up this route on Bulbapedia and discovered that all three things you can catch here (Spearow, Rattata, and Sandshrew) are dupes.  So I decided that I'd catch another Spearow and take him to Vermilion to trade for that Farfetch'd (not that I'd ever use it...)



...but Cameron quickly put an end to that plan.
