All joking aside, I picked Black for Black City, not the legendaries.

Elaborating on the camera thing... wee're still seeing 2D sprites in a 3D world. When the camera's fixed, that's fine. If not, you will need to add more sprites for the increased number of angles at which a sprite can be viewed. Not to mention the sprites look like donkey when zoomed in. (I'm talking unhappy, cellulite-ridden, hairy, sweaty donkey here; not the good kind.)
Some of the pokemon look hellaciously retarded. But as a counter-point, quite a few actually look halfway decent (Souk, perhaps Gurrdurr, the lightning zebra, Boldur, Basculin) and I've taken a shine to them.
Statistically, some also are not happy with simply looking fudgeing retarded, but they actually have to look retarded, too; I'm looking at that trio of elemental monkeys. I have had it up to here with those chocolateheads, they always crop up every route or so.

Last I recall her only notable Pokemon (Altaria) has Earthquake. But this was in R/S. Not sure if she's any different in Emerald.
