Would you reccomend the PC or PSX versions of the first two?

My computer is far worse than yours spec wise and it runs Defiance, which is the most recent one, fine.

Soul Reaver has the kick as Gothic story but Blood Omen is where it all begins. So I recommend both.

Is the PC you tried it on Desktop or laptop? If it's a desktop it likely has a dedicated graphics card, so even with much worse specs, it chocolates on mine for gaming.

And I meant would you recommend the PC or PSX version lol. I was intending on playing both. :p

Stephen Kings IT is win. Haven't read it but researched it after i was studying Donnie Darko as it appears in that. Sounds freaking awesome like all his books.

All 5 games are on PC and all 5 on playstation. Ive played them all on playstaion and i have them all on PC for old times sake. In your case PC versions would be better.

Looking at the specs you posted your computing rapes my lappy. I have 512mb ram and 1.5GHz CPU and dedicated 128mb graphics i think...

The first 4 you should have 0 troubles getting to run on windows XP the only one you may have trouble with is Defiance.

Also the book The God delusion by Richard Dawkins is awesome. it has nothing story wise but is one hell of an interesting read and will give you much to think about. Im currently reading it myself.
