Dude!!! Can this game (With or without this patch) Work on Gen-D3 or Promethius Firmawares of the PSP..?! It won't work on mine.. :(

You're using official firmware, you need UMD to play using Official Firmware, if you want to run MHportable 3rd using ISO file, you need to Download Custom Firmware Prom-4 so you can run Latest Official Firmware required games..

Hey all. Happy new year.
Id appreciate a quick reply if possible because im cracking up here with this patch
I think i got it to work. But when the game first begins. All the menus (Apart from new game,continue etc) are in Japanese. The felyne talks to you in the bath, But its written in Japanese. And talking to the villagers also brings Japanese speech bubbles.

Did i patch correctly? I just don't want to miss any conversation. Monster hunter series is too good to miss out on.
And one other quick question.
Is this easier than soloing Mhf unite? Because i gave up at hunter rank 8 in that game. Stupidly difficult. 2hits and i was dead. I do miss it though.

If items , village quests and some weapons are translated then yes you patched it correctly cause those are the only things that are translated.
Non of the conversations are translated. The menu at the beginning is also not.

Yeah those things are in english. Guess il wait till a full patch comes out.
Hopefully it won't take much longer.Dying to play this game

Since you can't play the new monster hunter in full english.
Play unite and install the data to your memory card. That way loading times are very quick.

Request for the felyne translation.. (behavior and attack type)
Having a hard time choosing a cat, i always got a bomber or bomb only cat which annoying when charging... so sometimes doing solo quest T_T

Although cats got bonus items sometimes and a big help in farming
