So i finally had the time off school to watch some anime, i chose the one that came out recently on BD; which would be fate/stay night unlimited bladeworks.

For someone who read the visual novel and watched the anime; this made the movie totally awesome; though it was unfortunate that due to budget and time most of the "fleshing" out wasn't really done and at times it would REALLY skip past things. You would have one fight occur to only be slammed in the face with another fight without any breather from the last one.

That doesn't make the movie bad however, because the main character wasn't as annoying as he was in the anime and the violence was ramped up to set the tone for the whole battle of the holy grail.

I have to stay the fight scenes were awesome, and i may have not seen many anime but they would have to be the best yet I've seen in any animated media.

Dang, it was a great movie; it had pratfalls that needed to be covered with knowledge of the whole fate/stay night universe, but for what it did; it did it good. I only wish they had combined the anime (blah blah blah blah blah) with the movie (fudge you bitch lets fight) to create a dynamic combo.

I guess the only people who will be stunned by the events of this movie are the ones who've seen the anime ONLY; oh well, i spoiled it for myself. The movie had really awesome moments to leave you in awe and even if i knew the whole story beforehand, this definitely had me at the edge of my seat at times and is really just pure fighting and ideals that will entertain you to the end.

Seen both the anime and VN (Fate + UBW, haven't done Heaven's Feel yet).

Have the movie downloaded already, but haven't gotten around to watch it.

How does it compare to Kara no Kyoukai?

fortunately, you reminded i need to get around doing so.

Also, you need to do heavens feel; quite corny here and there at times but it is probably the most fleshed out in terms of story and character development and it ends well depending on what you do. Be warned though, this is the dark side of fate/stay; meaning it pulls no punches when it gets down to gross. I already assume you know much about it though anyway and something keeps you from playing it :P

Since you waited this long, you may as well wait until feb 2011 to get the bluray rips. These movies has the the most visually stunning graphics in any anime I've seen yet, and you probably want the HD.

I asked mainly because they're sort of related.

Yeah, I plan on doing it eventually. That something that keeps me from playing it is time. Currently still got half of Cross Channel to get through, and half of Ever 17 (the whole point of Ever 17 is final route supposedly). And MLA will finish translating soon, so even more stuff on the log of what I need to get through.

And yeah, I have a rough idea of what's going on, sort of semi spoiled myself before the VN was translated. After-anime research. As for being dark, don't worry about that, I've probably seen far worse.

I will definitely wait for the BD rips, as i watched unlimited blade works on blu-ray :P

Yeah, one thing I do quite often is to press the reply button for stuff that I plan on replying, then hold it until I actually get to doing it, possibly much later.

I pretty much guessed the correct meaning anyway.

I don't even know if I want to watch this, since I've already read through the VN version and I hated the anime version. However, considering how good the Kara no Kyoukai movies are, I should probably get around to it at some stage.

And that's exactly why HF is his favourite route, because Sakura is far sluttier than Rin or Saber (well, at least according to what I heard, remember I haven't played HF yet). Why do you think he plays eroge at all?

On serious note, I think I remember a long long time Goshi mentioned something like he likes Saber > Rin >>>>>>>>>>>>> Sakura. So no, probably not for Sakura lol.

Yeah, I have to admit sakura is the biggest slut of all time while playing that route.
