yay, aren't monopolies fun :) no competition to drive down prices so they can charge and do whatever they want.

Actually, there still is competition, between the different producers. It's not like Sony makes eery single drive and every single disk.

Sure, it's not as much as if there were 2 products, but it's hardly a monopoly either.
