PSP Laser Replacement
I added the 2nd link for you so you could possibly see what your looking for on the rear of the PSP... hope this helps
Thanks. I'm gonna look at it. The guide I saw was Razor's.:mdr:
Edit: Got it working. I just tried to launch game sharing to see if the wlan is turned on and works perfectly. Can't wait to use wifi again...Cheers.
Anger Wrote:well if you have been using a pin to short it then you could get away with soldering it in the short term.
just be very carefull if you do this.
the instructions i have seen about the way the screen is attached mentions clips up either side of the screen which you open with a razor blade carfully prizing it out. however if you prize the wrong part you will shatter your screen. ill say it again - just be damned carefull. good luck.
actually i just read distrubed links - there very accurate.
o man are you gonna have a good time getting the psp apart. :/ you need to strip it down to the main board. forget getting a replacement - the switch is on the psp mainboard. you can replace the switch itself but i would ask myself is it worth it?
I've seen razor's guide and somehow I can't find the clips. And when I compared my psp's sleft and right side to the picture in his pics, seems different type of setup. Well, ya I 'm gonna have agood time stripping it down to the main board. It would be easy, I guess way pass the LCD. But that's still puzzle's me. I really need to open it too to make sure that I didn't mess out on something when I tried to figure out out which one is the wlan on thing. I just touched on the part where that T-shaped thing possibly connected do. I figure that it shorts something. It worked fine but the funny thought is how I am gonna do it when somewhere other than my house.:mdr:
Thanks by the way for your help again, Disturbed and Anger.
