What's the .pkg file then?

.pkg is the ps3 package format. the backup manger for the ps3 is in .pkg you can DL the back up manger as of right now but it's use less unless you have the the flash drive type thingy (ps3 jail break)

I had a dream that a 2nd means if hacking the ps3 was to use a special Sony Aibo pink programing stick lol. Then I did it and forgot to backup my NAND before flashing custom rom and then got eXx1l3d from PSN and then woke up with the sweats lmao... Oh sweet sugar high dreams...
