Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

So I put a PS3 theme together with a few Anime Wallpapers from Konachan.com, Freeware Icons from iconfactory.com and some sounds from kdelook.org.
Should I ask atleast the icon creators if I'm allowed to release theme like that or doesn't the PS3 Theming Scene mind where the stuff comes from?^^

I just don't want to be lynched if I upload it here and on consolespot.net^^'

ConsoleSpot won't care because they are mostly noobs who couldn't really care anyway.

Wee wouldn't mind but still, the fact you have the thought in mind leads me to say - what harm is there in asking for their permission?

Just ask nicely and they probably will - so long as they are credited appropriately.

Edit: It's personal preference really because most people wouldn't care and the creators couldn't care because of the low probability that they will stumble upon the theme and notice.

I wouldn't worry about contacting anyone.
A lot of people post things in different scenes, and then disappear forever.

Plus, they have released these icons to the public.
They didn't distribute a license agreement with the icons, and you are not using them for commercial use, I do not see a problem with it.

I would make sure to give them full credits with the release though.
