Me and my work friends go to talking and wee thought about using a VPN to download all our stuff privately, but I'm doing some research and I'm wondering how to set up an account that allows multiple users to connect or should I just allow them to buy there own seperate accounts, I would prefer to stick with them in one big group because that way if something goes wrong wee will be able to tell if its affecting all of us or just the one user. What do you guys think?

^ VPN? Why not just have a US dedicated server with SSH access and just set up proxified access to it? [You might be better of going for another European country though..]

Maybe because a VPN is like up to 10x cheaper than a dedicated server...?

Only reason I mentioned Dedicated Server is because of the link speed. Shared hosting tends to rather variable but I guess not that bad for normal use. Overreaction :P

What does knowing someone outside the US have anything to do with it?  You know you can buy stuff like that over the internet right?  EP's server's physically located in the US...

Regarding the link speed, all he needs is for it to be about 2x the speed of his home connection (in + out), which isn't hard at all...
