I was also used as some sorta tool (not for relationships though, more like an errand boy or something... >.>)
I didn't care.

People started making bad rumors about me (one of the ones that stuck in my mind was "He was masturbating in math class! remember when the teacher said "hey! I see what your doing under your desk!". What had happened was I made something electronic, don't remember what it was as I destroyed it, but I was playing with it under my desk... it was pretty huge too, like the size of my hand or so... also if a teacher caught me masturbating in class she wouldn't respond like she said... fudgeing retards >.>)
I didn't care.
It's not like I can say anything because nobody listens to the second person (-.-")

I ended up ditching everybody and made some different friends... which are the, I guess you could call them the "bad kids", reasons being; smoking, drugs, fights, trouble, ...etc but despite everything I'm going to say they were the best friends I've had >.>

Entertaining and protective over me...

That's like the friends I have now too, probably also the reason I failed college last year though :S

With the "being used as a tool" thing, try to think less about the people "using" you and more on your own thoughts.
Personally, I don't care whether other people are using me or not.  If it's something I like, I'll do it, if I don't like it, I won't.  Simplifies things down a lot, and it makes yourself the centre of everything.
Yes, this is a bit self-centred, but if you feel others are taking advantage of you (in other words, they're being self-centred), try doing a bit of it yourself.  It also allows you to be more frank with people - it's difficult to say to someone not to use you as a tool.

Also remember that they don't have usually more "bargaining power" or "control" over you.  You appear to be rejecting people who seem to be trying to sweeten their end of the deal, but you can also try to level out the field and perhaps take advantage of them.

I'm sure for it might be different when you start your loner life, but being a loner is hard at times for me.
Because I'm giving a weak self image to everyone around me I end up provoking a lot unwanted attention because they know it's the opposite of what I want just so they can get their lolz while putting me down, absolutely immature, yes.

My advice would be like ProperBritish.
It's what I do (and will do if it happens because I'm going to start going to college in a few months.)
Just move on, I mean if they didn't treat you good then it's their loss for not gaining a friend right.
I honestly have a lot of friends but I am sort of an introvert so I actually enjoy being by myself..
Just pick up a book and read or something, get your mind off of it.

I pretty much lost (well, not exactly "lost", but just not really close anymore) whatever friends I had in the past now that I'm in uni. Same i see similar faces from hs. I've gotten over them a couple months ago, i haven't even talked to my bestie in a couple months. Wee even had a job together working as custodian so I could pay for books but after I quit wee only hung out once during my time in college. Ugh it hurts but it's probably best for me to move on and meet him down the road ahead. =(

And that's the thing, i narly rely on logic and moreso emotion to govern the way i work; which means that i have a moral code to never be a scheming/lying person to anyone. It's on this foundation that i felt that i was "pure" in a sense, that if i never acted like the bad of others then, maybe, i would find people who truly mattered.

I care about others moreso myself, but this is the punishment you get for thinking in such a manner; you're easily manipulated. I get what you're saying Zing, but to scheme or plot has never been my style. As such, this is why I've taken the loner side for the period of time i remain like this; maybe i will get back into the game of socializing; but as a different person that greatly conflicts my first attempt (manipulative).

I don't really like to impart my wisdom on people but here it goes .

There are only two answers in life... You can deal with it, or... Deal with it !

Now this must sound like I'm trying to be funny but really I'm not, they are my two rules of life & they work for everything.

As an example

Someone is in your face & a fight is about to take place.

Option 1. Deal with it
Don't say a word to them & just break there nose & stomp on there head tell they pass out from shock

Option 2. Deal with it
Attempt to talk your way out of the fight

Either way it's dealt with....

Now feel free to take my answers to life's problems & use them for everything.

Tetris999, If that is how you feel, NEVER ever move to New Jersey. I have lived all over Germany, California, Pennsylvania, and the level of life sucking assholes that live here is unreal. I have gotten to the point where I play dumb, well more so anyway.

Do you know how to fix my PC?

No I don't.

There can be a 3rd option, avoid the fight. :)

Never really said to be scheming, just think a bit more towards yourself, but if you naturally think from other peoples' view I guess that won't work.

Well, taking a break may not be a bad idea I guess...
